B&D Inc. carefully mine an artist's full catalog of studio albums for the choicest tracks. Starting from their first album to the most current, BDI listens to each album, front to back, and rates each track. Each track is given its own fair shake and listened to as if it was the first time it's been heard. Honest reviews and remarks are noted. Once all tracks have been reviewed, they are compiled by rank into one final round of deletions to accommodate the 80 minute runtime maximum. When the final tracks have been identified, they are arranged into a master playlist for your listening pleasure.

Many songs that wind up being reviewed here have been overplayed via radio throughout the years. This creates the single most problematic question faced during listening. Does the song itself warrant notoriety? Unfortunately an amazing song can be pushed into your ears much more than you'd like it to which can leave a song as more of an annoyance than a treat. So, to be fair to every song, it is greeted with virgin ears and open mind.

So, with that, hopefully this will allow more of an idea on how these lists are compiled. Plug the extra speakers in, it's going to be a loud night.
